My Story
My story began with humble beginnings. About 15 years ago, I started creating videos on my grandpa’s computer. These videos were simple commentaries over explorations on Google Earth, focusing on its intricate geography. Though these early projects never saw the light of day, there were a lot of them — I was unknowingly mapping out a lifelong passion for creating a story.
Fast forward a few years, I took baby steps into online content creation on YouTube. Initially, it was just simple video game clips I made with friends on my PlayStation. I quickly fell in love with the rudimentary editing tools and the challenge of spinning a story from seemingly meaningless footage.
Later, I managed a professional Instagram page centered around my two dogs and their daily antics. While moderately successful over a few months, creativity ran thin—how much content do two dogs that just play fight and sleep all day really make? Still, it was a valuable lesson in consistency and audience engagement.
I then transitioned into shooting amateur photography and producing video edits for small companies I worked at, alongside designing logos for branding and marketing. Although my boss never paid me for this extra work, these efforts almost led me to become part owner of that landscaping company in Arkansas, a path I didn’t expect but embraced for the experience.
After over a decade of trial, error, and persistence in online content creation, I finally had a clear direction. I saved up for proper equipment and set out to offer professional photography and videography services for small businesses.
This professional venture naturally expanded into weddings, couples, and event photography and videography. I’m even willing to provide your dog with a business card if they ever need a professional portrait.
Throughout it all, I’ve held onto one core principle: to never settle for basic photography. My goal is to create experiences that feel magical for my clients—capturing raw, unique, candid moments that make memories truly stand out.
Providing the best video and photography services in the Black Hills of South Dakota is my biggest goal now.
